Music plays an integral part to worship at Leek Salvation Army. 

Junior Choir

The children sing during Sunday morning worship and are led by Deputy Songster Leader Claire Mckay.

Songsters

The Songsters are led by Songster Leader Gillian Jennings and assisted by Deputy Songster Leader Claire Mckay. They practise on a Wednesday evening between 7-8pm. The Songsters are made up of over 30 people aged 14+. 

Band

Leek Band is led by Deputy Bandmaster Paul Dickinson following the promotion to glory of Bandmaster Joe Bate during the pandemic. They rehearse on a Wednesday night between 8:15-9:30pm. The Band is made up of people aged 9+ and accompany worship.

Learners Band

Learners Band takes place on a Thursday evening between 6:30-7:30pm under the direction of YP Band Leader Daniel Wallis and Assistant YP Band Leader Kate Williams. People of all ages enjoy taking part in the band and learning to play a brass instrument.

Toy Service - 6pm

A service to donate any new and unwrapped toys for under 18's. These will be distributed to children in the community who otherwise would not receive much at Christmas

Civic Carol Service - 6pm

During this service there will be a collection for the Air Ambulance charity. 

Saturday 21st December 2024

Ukranian and English Carol Service - 6pm

Sunday 22nd December 2024

Corps Carol Service - 6pm 

This carol service will include items by our Young People and the Nativity

Monday 23rd December 2024

Carols by Candlelight - 6pm

Christmas Day Service 

The Christmas Day service will start at 10:30am with a cup of tea or coffee and some mince pies, before moving into the main hall for worship at 11am.
