We will be holding a Christmas Day dinner at the Salvation Army in the Meadows, for people who would otherwise be on their own on Christmas Day and are looking for volunteers to support us at this event.
Volunteering opportunities on this day include:
Welcoming guests and making them tea or coffee on arrival.
Making up a packed tea for the guests to take home and also to be taken out to the homeless in the city centre on Christmas Day and Boxing date.
Supporting in the Kitchen with the food preparation and serving the meals, washing up etc.
Being a table host to help serve the meal and take care of the guests during the meal and during the games and quizzes.
Drivers to collect people and take them home afterwards (would need references and an up to date DBS)
