Community Lunches

Served each Friday in our church on Wilmot Road commencing at 12.30pm.   Guests should book and pay in advance through our drop in cafe or thrift store.  £3 pp NO LATER than 12.30pm on Wednesday.

Opening Hours

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.15am - 12.30pm.

Our focus is on community which is the main reason are prices of hot drinks and snacks are kept real low and affordable for all.   We offer bacon baps, sausage baps,(under £2) and toasties, toasted teacakes.

 The drop in also hosts a number of community projects throughout the week including:

Crafters Group 1.30pm - 3.30pm 

A small friendly group which encourages interaction, fellowship, and a chance to swap notes and idea on a variety of handicrafts.    A subscription of £1 is required and refreshments are provided in the costing.

REACH OUT PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE

In extreme emergencies, and when other agencies are not operating, application can be made for Practical Assistance for emergency food parcels, and utility top ups.   These are limited and prioritised.

THE KERRY PROJECT

Responds through referral, to issues of Domestic Abuse, through the provision of emergency clothing and, upon resettlement, some basic items of household furnishings.

Major John Parrott (Rtd) is the appointed Airport Chaplain for East Midlands, where he helps meet the spiritual needs of staff and passengers. He regularly attends the terminals and airside areas weekly during early Thursday mornings.

Still Waters

Is a newly launched resource offering visitors to the Facebook page to pause in moments of reflection and prayer.  Anyone requiring one to one prayer can contact us through the message facility or by calling the church answerphone service.
