Run for #TeamSallyArmy in one of the six World Major Marathons!
Starting and finishing at the city's famous Brandenburg Gate, the looped course also takes in sights such as the Reichstag, Berliner Dom and the Berlin Cathedral.
Over 40,000 people take part in the annual marathon, with millions more lining the streets to support the runners. Along the route on the day of the marathon, around 60 bands play to create a unique race day atmosphere for runners and spectators alike.
At The Salvation Army we work hard to fight injustice and exploitation. Our aim is to change the world we live in, to literally transform lives of those who need it most, whether that be victims of human trafficking or modern-day slavery or those suffering from homelessness, addiction or domestic abuse. We work on the ‘front line’ everyday fighting against some of the greatest evils of our time to help people break through barriers.
We support you throughout your fundraising journey: from our fundraising welcome pack, to our Facebook support group, to a breathable Sally Army running jersey, we stay in touch every step of the way – giving out tips & tricks, and helping you reach your goals.
If you’ve secured your own place for the Berlin Marathon and would like to support our work, we'd love to welcome you to the team! Please complete our own place registration form and we will send you one of our fundraising packs and your running vest. There is no minimum sponsorship for our own place runners, we are grateful for every £1 that you raise.
Please note: Flights and accommodation must be purchased and organised by the participant
