A bit about us....

Catherine Booth first held a mission in Croydon in 1866, three years later Catherine Booth returned and Mission Station Number 9 became the first evangelical outreach for The Christian Mission outside the east end of London.

For over 150 years Croydon Citadel has been involved in locally based mission and continues to serve the local community, offering the love, grace and compassion of God.

The corps continues to develop based on the five foundations held by CCC; Worship, Fellowship, Social Action, Mission and Discipleship.

Vision Statement:

CCC exists to: Save Souls, Grow Saints and Serve Suffering Humanity.
