The Salvation Army’s Employment Plus programme has opportunities for people with different experiences and backgrounds to volunteer their time and skills to help us help people get back into employment.

We believe in helping job seekers to overcome any current problems they may face such as housing, financial problems or lack of self-confidence and work-related skills.

Whether it is offering advice on someone’s CV or providing employment advice, just 15 minutes a week might make the world of difference to someone.

Volunteering with The Salvation Army doesn’t only help transform lives of other people, but can transform yours too. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and improve your own mental health, and develop your own professional experience.
