The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people in society.  

From our Foodbank, to offering a listening ear and practical help where possible, we are helping those within our community who need it the most.

Need a food parcel?

We work alongside Lewisham Foodbank (Trussell Trust) in helping those within our community with food & toiletries as well as support and advice.

Our Foodbank is open Tuesday 10am-12pm

To get a referral, please contact an organisation that you are in contact with like a school, housing association, Citizens Advice or GP.

Alternatively, you can call either Help Through Hardship on 0808 2082138 or Advice Lewisham on 0800 2315453 or pop into Lewisham shopping centre unit 17 (see map below) on Tuesday morning between 9:30am and 12:30pm. Other drop-in locations are available. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID VOUCHER TO RECEIVE FOOD

Our clothing banks are situated outside of our hall on Albion Way. You can drop off any unwanted clothes, shoes or household textiles there 24/7. We recommend that you pack donations in smaller bags rather than larger bags because they are easier to deposit. 

Everything you donate is re-sold, reused or recycled, helping us lessen our impact on the environment while raising money to support our work. Click here for more information.

Unfortunately we are unable to collect donations. If the clothing banks are full please do not leave your donation as this is classed as fly tipping. CCTV is in operation. Only the van drivers have keys to access the clothing banks so please check before depositing bags for personal belongings not intended for donation.
