Our music team

Dr Stephen Cobb is responsible for developing the overall strategy for the MACA team.  Stephen is a soldier at Hendon Corps and serves as the bandmaster. He also holds the baton of the International Staff Band.  Stephen has a passion for the development of young musicians within the Salvation Army, and encouraging the next generation of young Salvationist musicians across the territory.

Stephanie is responsible for developing creatives arts across the territory, and loves to encourage, support and resource young leaders in dance, drama and singing.  Stephanie is also passionate about creating opportunities for young people to develop and showcase their faith through performance.

Stephanie would love to hear from you and share with you new drama sketches, dance routines and other forms of creative ministry.

Paul is responsible for affirming, encouraging and developing MACA groups within some of the more traditional aspects of Salvation Army music making, with a special emphasis on brass and vocal groups, as well as supporting the director in the Territorial response to MACA. Paul was a member of the International Staff Band and currently serves as Bandmaster of the Regent Hall corps band.

Nik is responsible for affirming, encouraging and developing MACA groups outside the traditional reams within The Salvation Army with a special emphasis on worship teams as well as supporting the director in the Territorial response to MACA. He has been part of the Music and Creative Arts team for 3 years and before a member of the Music Ministries Unit for 6 years and is passionate about seeing people connect to God through worship

Dan is a soldier at Liverpool Walton corps, where he plays in the band and contemporary worship team.  He has been part of the MACA team for 5 years, working on a number of territorial resources and with local leaders.

The Outreach Mission Partner role is focussed on how we use Music and Creative Arts to reach out to people in our communities.  From Singing By Heart to community choirs, from kids clubs to brass learners programmes and much more Dan is on hand to support new projects, to help refocus and relaunch existing programmes or to respond with tailor made solutions to local needs.

Not only is Dan a very adaptable musician, but he also brings a variety of skills in design, video editing and project management that he is always happy to share in any practical way.
