Egg-ceptional support from Access Self Storage
published on 20 Apr 2015
Access Self Storage gave a large number of Easter eggs to Salvation Army minister Captain Emma Scott to benefit families in Mitcham. The egg-straordinary donation was part of a massive 500 eggs handed in by members of the public to the company's Easter Egg Hunt appeal to assist a number of charities.
Mitcham florist Caroline Coombs from Flowers by Caroline also donated a giant Easter bonnet.
Captain Emma Scott said: 'We're grateful for the donations from Access Self Storage and the community. The Salvation Army is at the heart of Mitcham, supporting people in need, offering practical assistance and friendship. We shared the eggs with families and were able to talk to them about the message of Easter and the hope it brings.'
Store manager Wahid Akram said: 'We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated chocolate eggs to our Easter appeal this year. With their contributions, we were able to collect lots and lots of Easter eggs, our best effort yet.'
