Sundays

  • 10:00am Prayer Meeting 

  • We meet for a short, informal prayer meeting before our Sunday worship. Anyone is welcome to join us. If you have any prayer requests, then do feel free to message us and we’ll be very happy to pray for you

  • 10:30am Worship and Word

  • An informal service, followed by tea, coffee and fellowship

Weekdays

Christian faith during the week, when our doors are open to offer programmes and activities for the community.

  • Monday

    • 10.00am Parent & Toddler Group
      • ​Come along for  coffee, a chat, a chance to meet other parents and new friends while your little ones create and play together.  Includes a drink and a snack - £1.50 per session, or £2 for the week.

    • 1.00 to 3.00 PM Job Club
      • ​Want to improve your digital know-how? Or get online to sort your bills and claims? Our free drop in service will give you the access to do that! A Drop-in session to use the computer, have a coffee and a chat and get some help with filling in forms and accessing the internet etc. Free internet - Email - Jobs - Hobbies - Benefits Online - Social Media - Printing

    • 3:30 to 5.00pm Worship and Bible Study
      • An informal group - we have a couple of worship songs, and then read and study God's word together over coffee or a cold drink (usually accompanied by sweets!).  You don't need to be an 'expert', you don't need to own a bible - just come along!

  • Tuesday

    • 12.00 to 1.30pm Open Door Cafe
      • ​Our Open Door Cafe is run by Christians Together in Shepton Mallet.  All are welcome for a homemade hot meal, followed by a cup of tea or coffee and cake. Available to anyone for a donation, or complimentary, if you're unable to pay.

  • Wednesday

    • 10.00am Parent & Toddler Group
      • ​Come along for  coffee, a chat, a chance to meet other parents and new friends while your little ones create and play together.  Includes a drink and a snack - £1.50 per session, or £2 for the week.

  • Friday

    •  5.00 to 6.00pm Power Prayers!
      • Join us every Friday from 5pm to 6pm as we pray together. Either come to The Salvation Army Hall on Commercial Road, or pray where you are, and know that all our prayers are joined together! If you'd like us to pray for you, or have a specific prayer request, then do please message us.

Charity Shop

  • Open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm

    • CAll in and see Hayley and the team in our shop and have a browse and see what you can find!

Prayer

Prayer Requests

  • You will find Prayer Request cards on the charity shop counter, kitchen counter and at the back of the hall

  • There is a 'Prayer Requests' Box to post them in at the back of the hall, and any requests will be prayed for during our Friday Power Prayers.

  • Alternatively, contact us, or drop us a message via our Facebook page and we'd be very happy to pray for you.

Christmas

  • Sunday 1st December

    • 10.30 am Toddlers' Nativity Service
    • a simple service telling the Christmas Story and singing some carols.  Bring your toddlers dressed up as nativity characters and there'll be an opportunity for them to join in with the story. Donations of toys for our Christmas Toy Appeal are welcomed at this service - new toys that can be given as gifts to local families in need this Christmas.

    • Come and lean all about 'The Jesse Tree'

  • Wednesday 18th December

    • Packing up Christmas food parcels for local families - volunteers welcome
  • Sunday 22nd December

    •  10.30am Carol Service 
    • Come and sing Christmas carols with us before you go to Shepton's Victorian Christmas Market!  We are hoping to have a small brass band too - watch this space!
