The Shoeburyness Corps of The Salvation Army is a worship and community centre. Our beliefs and teachings are centred on the Bible and our practical concerns for the needs of people.

Hire our Hall

Our Halls.

These can be hired for special occasions and functions. The back hall has kitchen facilities and a large activity area – the main hall also has kitchen facilities and is reserved for more meeting type activities, as this is the main church hall.

Both halls can be hired on a regular basis if required please contact us for further information.

Our charges are: £20.00 per hour for one off hirings with a £20.00 deposit OR £15.00 per hour for regular hirings, plus £25.00 set up fee (one off).

We are sorry but alcohol cannot be consumed in any of the halls, and no gambling is allowed.


Our Community Gospel Choir meets every Tuesday Evening from 7:30PM to 8:30 PM

Our charity shop is conveniently located in the middle of Shoeburyness

This is the Churches shop. This supplies not only the vital funds for the work of the Salvation Army to continue but also in supplying clothes to individuals and families that are in need.

We would like to thank all of you that have donated clothes in the past and would ask to you to support us with clothing and other items that can be sold or used to help someone.

All donations are gratefully received, but we are unable to take furniture or large electrical items.
