In a practical way, we take the message of God’s love and hope to those we meet and our local community.

Serving our community through our program and through our charity shop, helping others on their path to knowing Jesus better and deeper.

PASTORAL CARE

As a church we seek to support each other based on our Christian commitment and values, offering practical assistance / sign posting to non-members living in our neighbourhood, irrespective of faith, cultural background, ethnic origin or life choices. Sharing peoples joys and sorrows is a wonderful privilege as it mirrors the love of Jesus for all those whom He met. If you would like prayer or may be in need of practical assistance please contact either our Church Leader or Community Mission Manager on 020 8675 3809 or pop in for a chat.

You will always be welcome to come and browse in our charity shop.

Please also note we are not able to take large items of furniture and do not collect.

Why not donate "A Gift of Your Time".

We are seeking volunteers who can give a couple of hours help so we can open the shop for longer hours.

There are various jobs that you can get involved with - sorting donations, pricing, stock rotation, cleaning goods, working in the shop.

If you are interested please come and talk to a member or volunteer, about what's involved.

Opening Hours — Please do not leave donations outside the shop outside of opening hours. they all get thrown into landfill.
We cannot accept medical aids, duvets or furniture.

Twenty four hours a day, every day of the year, The Salvation Army provide care and support to people in need. In fact its what we've done for over 150 years. It is what we continue to do today and its what we will go on doing whenever and wherever there is injustice and pain in the world.

Did you know we hire out our halls and community rooms?

We have a number of halls and rooms of varying sizes that can be used for clubs, social events, meetings etc..

Hiring can be for a one off event or a regular activity.

Hire cost is £25 per hour, or part hour, for the Lochinvar Hall and £25 per hour for the training room and coffee lounge areas. Hire needs to include set up and pack down times.

Hire includes table and chairs, with access to kitchenette for making refreshments.

Come And Meet Each Other (CAMEO)

Why not join us as we start our new CAMEO club. this will be on Tuesdays at 10.30am. We will have armchair aerobics, crafts, board games, talks, share a meal and have a short thought each week. Make new friends, keep warm and have fun in a Christian enviroment. £3 per person.
