The Salvation Army – Kilburn Church

NEW!!!

CHRISTMAS GIFT & TOY APPEAL

What do we do?

At Christmas Kilburn and Notting Hill Salvation Army churches come together to serve the needs of both communities – and once again, we ask for your help!

This year we are running our Toy Hub again. This is where local organisations and groups refer families to us who need a bit of a helping hand with purchasing a Christmas gift. The families come along and choose from our wide selection of toys for children and young people aged 0-18 years old. This year this will run between Tuesday 10 December and Wednesday18 December (excluding weekend). Last year we supported 117 families which is around 250 children, plus many others through other referral routes. We anticipate an increase this year, particularly with the cost of living rises showing no sign of reducing or easing off.

How can you help?

Donate a gift (please note that for this appeal we only accept new and unwrapped gifts)

If you would like to support the Toy Hub directly by purchasing a gift, you can go to our Amazon Wishlist and purchase a gift which will come straight to us and be placed in the Toy Hub. Alternatively, you can purchase a gift and drop it round to Kilburn Salvation Army. We aim to be open for collections Monday to Friday in the run up to Christmas. If you would like to check when would be best any week to drop off a donation of gifts, please contact us on: Kilburn@salvationarmy.org.uk

If you would like your workplace or business to support the Toy Hub, there are plenty of ways to get involved. You could organise a giving tree, or Christmas collection point where any donations of gifts can be collected – the Amazon Wishlist can be used as inspiration. We can help you with this and will be happy to have a chat about arrangements for getting bulk gifts to us. Please contact us on: Kilburn@salvationarmy.org.uk

Make a donation

Alongside the Toy Hub, we are also hoping to provide a number of other Christmas related items including wrapping and little festive food items. If you would like to support us in this, you can donate through our Just Giving page.

Thank you for all the support you give, it is very much appreciated, and especially at this time when everyone is feeling the cost of living pinch.

God bless you.

We are your Salvation Army church in Kilburn. We are located very near Kilburn Park underground station, which is on Cambridge Avenue (just off Kilburn High Road).

We also have a community programme through which we seek to respond to the needs of the community. Please see the website menu at the bottom of this page for timings, alternatively email: kilburn@salvationarmy.org.uk for details.
