Salvation Army car boot sale aims to connect the community

The Salvation Army in Raploch, Stirling is inviting people to book a space at its Easter car boot sale, or simply turn up, bag a bargain and have a natter.
The popular Drip Road charity shop is holding the annual event on Saturday 6 April from 10am till 1pm, in the car park of its community church.
The car boot sale is the idea of Pauline Kelly, who manages The Salvation Army shop and who hopes the event will also be a fun way to connect the community.
Pauline said: "We’ll have lots of different stallholders coming in with things. It’s just £10 a table and that money will go towards the work of The Salvation Army in Stirling. This is also a great way of connecting people in who come into our shop, I’d say to people, come along and have a rummage, you are sure to meet people and have a good natter plus there’s something for everyone."
Spaces cost £10 and all proceeds will go towards The Salvation Army’s community work in Stirling. The shop will also be open on the day.
To book a space, call Pauline at The Salvation Army’s charity shop in Raploch on 01786 448 923.
