Mrs Waddle said: “ It was a rare privilege and honour for us to welcome a senior government representative at the Ipswich Priory Centre. He was delighted to learn of our contributions for community engagement through volunteering opportunities, faith in action and community integration initiatives, while empowering people especially from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds.

“We are also excited that the PCC has further encouraged us to consider opportunities of working with his office in the future, which may then have a positive impact on the welfare and wellbeing of individuals, while contributing to the reduction and prevention of crime in the area”.

The Priory Centre runs a number of activities through the week including a craft group on Tuesday, a lunch club on Wednesday and Art for Fun on Friday.
