7.00 pm Songster (choir) practice

Our choir rehearse and spend time praying for people

Wednesdays

New Horizons; A warm space; a warm welcome, a hot lunch!

10.00am - 12.00 noon: Coffee & chat, dominoes & other games

12.00 noon  Lunch Club - a good cooked lunch

12.45 pm - 1.45 pm:

• First and fourth Wednesdays of the month - a relaxed time of songs, discussions, quizzes
• Second Wednesday of the month - Singing by Heart - a dementia friendly activity with a warm welcome for all.  If you would like to refer or bring someone to Singing by Heart then email oxford@salvationarmy.org.uk

• Third Wednesday - a craft activity, all materials supplied

Gift Service - Sunday 8 December 10.30am - bring a new toy to give during the service

Carol Service - Sunday 15 December 10.30am - hear the Christmas story

Community Carols by Candlelight - Sunday 22 December 6pm - sing the traditional carols

Christmas Songs of Praise - Sunday 29 December at 10.30am - come and choose your favourite carol

Saturdays 30 November, 7 December, 14 December, 21 December from 10-12 outside Marks and Spencer on Queen Street.

Saturday 30 November at 10.30am the Lord Mayor will launch our Christmas Appeal.

Hope Oxford (was WH Smiths) Templars Square Shopping Centre, Cowley - open 10 to 3 from Monday 2 December until Tuesday 10 December.

This is the help we need:

Toy moving and stacking. We need fit people who can lift bags and boxes of toys up and down stairs. This year our toy storage space is up stairs.  Must be over 18.  One volunteer per session.

Location: Hope Oxford shop, Templars Square, Cowley

Sessions needed:

Monday to Saturday 2-7 December either 10 to 1 or 1 to 4

Monday to Wednesday 9-11 December either 10 to 1 or 1 to 4

Thursday 12 December either 8-10, 11 -1 or 1-3
