Corporate fundraising in the Republic of Ireland
The Salvation Army Ireland has spent over a century supporting the country’s most vulnerable people.
Our specialised services offer a lifeline to men, women and children affected by issues like poverty, homelessness, unemployment and addiction. To continue our vital work we need the support of the country’s business community. That’s why we have established the following initiatives to suit your company’s needs:
Corporate partnerships
The Salvation Army Ireland is looking for corporate partners to help more people out of homelessness.Through emergency, short-term and long-term supported accommodation our qualified support workers help people gain the confidence and skills needed to live in their own homes. We can help you engage your employees by offering them the chance to volunteer with The Salvation Army Ireland or raise funds for our work. Crucially, we will supply you with a report on the positive impact your support has had.
Corporate donations
Have a direct say in how your money is invested. If you choose to invest in a particular project or programme we will provide you with a progress report and, where possible, invite you along to see the difference you are helping make in people’s lives. You can also encourage your employees to donate to The Salvation Army Ireland by accommodating payroll giving or by matching the amount they raise.
Employee volunteering
A great initiative to contribute towards our work and engage your employees in a meaningful and rewarding way. We have a range of employee volunteering opportunities to choose from.
Events and challenges
A fun way to engage your employees while raising money for The Salvation Army Ireland. You can enter individual staff members or teams in a range of challenge events, such as a marathon or even jumping out of a plane. Those looking for something slightly less adventurous could organise a bake sale, lip-sync battle or a Strictly Come Dancing-style competition.
Corporate sponsorship
Support our services by donating gifts in kind such as towels, socks, hats and scarves for our residents who are facing the challenges of homelessness. Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without The Salvation Army so why not become a sponsor of our carol concert that is a true celebration of our work.
